Four promises, in plain language
Encrypted, end to end
Your family's records are encrypted both in transit and at rest, using strong, industry-standard protection. Whether data is moving or stored, it's scrambled so it can't be read by anyone it isn't meant for.
Shared only with your say-so
Nothing about your family is shared without your explicit permission. You decide who to include and what to connect, and you can change your mind at any time. You're always in control of who sees what.
You are not the product
We don't sell your family's identity, and we don't build an advertising business on your health. Docent is paid by the families we serve. That's our only incentive, and it's the reason we can put your privacy first.
Yours to export or delete
Your family's data belongs to you, not to us. If you ever choose to leave, you can delete everything, completely and for good. And because it's your information, you'll always be able to take it with you.
You choose what to connect, and you stay in control.

You decide who and what
You choose which family members to add and which patient portals or providers to connect. Nothing is gathered unless you set it up. Docent never reaches into anything you haven’t chosen.

Docent reads your records. It doesn't change them.
Docent gathers a copy of your family’s records to organize and explain them. It’s there to give you a clear picture. It doesn’t change your medical records or act on your behalf with providers.

Change your mind about a provider or a family member? Disconnect it whenever you want. You’re never locked in, and removing a connection is always in your hands.
Privacy is the foundation.
We’re building Docent because our own families deserve this. One clear picture of their health, kept safe. It’s the reason the product exists and the standard we hold ourselves to. If we wouldn’t trust it with our own parents’ and children’s records, we wouldn’t ask you to.

Docent helps you understand your family’s health and have better conversations with your doctors. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.
