What does Docent need from me?
To build your family’s picture, Docent securely connects to the patient portals and health systems you already use (like MyChart and others), then gathers the records into one place. You choose which people and which providers to connect; nothing happens without you setting it up.
Is my family's health data private and secure?
Yes. We built the product around privacy from day one. Your records are encrypted in transit and at rest with bank-level security, never sold to anyone, and never shared without your explicit permission. You can delete your family’s data at any time.
Do my parents have to use it themselves?
No. Docent is built for the person doing the caring. With the right permissions in place, you can manage a parent’s or child’s health without them ever logging in themselves, which is the whole point when you’re the one keeping track of everyone.
Does Docent replace my doctor?
No. Docent helps you understand your family’s health and walk into appointments prepared and informed. It doesn’t diagnose or treat. It makes you a better-informed partner in your family’s care.
