A health companion for your family

One clear picture of your family's health.

Docent gathers your family’s medical records from every doctor and turns them into plain language, organized around the people and conditions you care about most.

The health you worry about, finally in one place.

Your family’s records are scattered across every doctor, written for clinicians, and impossible to keep straight. And it matters most when the stakes are highest. Docent brings everything together, turns it into plain language, and quietly watches for what others miss.

Records that finally make sense.

Every visit record comes written for clinicians. Docent reads each one and summarizes into a clear summary of what happened. Then it reads across each visit to create one coherent picture of your entire condition.

Add a medication and Docent checks it instantly.

Docent checks each of your medications for potential interactions, regardless of where they came from, automatically. Or, point your camera at any bottle. Docent recognizes the medication, adds it to the right person, and checks it against everything your family already takes, flagging a dangerous combination before it becomes a problem.

Questions

The things people ask first.

How much does it cost?

We’ll share pricing as we get closer to launch. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and doesn’t commit you to anything; it just means you’ll be the first to know, and the first to get in.

We’re opening access in waves over the coming months. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the moment there’s a spot for your family. You won’t need to check back.

To build your family’s picture, Docent securely connects to the patient portals and health systems you already use (like MyChart and others), then gathers the records into one place. You choose which people and which providers to connect; nothing happens without you setting it up.

Yes. We built the product around privacy from day one. Your records are encrypted in transit and at rest with bank-level security, never sold to anyone, and never shared without your explicit permission. You can delete your family’s data at any time.

No. Docent is built for the person doing the caring. With the right permissions in place, you can manage a parent’s or child’s health without them ever logging in themselves, which is the whole point when you’re the one keeping track of everyone.

No. Docent helps you understand your family’s health and walk into appointments prepared and informed. It doesn’t diagnose or treat. It makes you a better-informed partner in your family’s care.

Who's behind docent health

Two decades building health software. One problem I couldn't stop thinking about.

Docent is built by Reform Labs, the team behind Mewa.io, a health-insurance platform that’s been used by more than 40,000 employers to help manage their benefits. We build software for the corners of healthcare where trust and sensitive data matter most.

I’ve been building software in the healthcare space since founding my first startup in 2006. The companies I’ve built have served more than a million people. This one is personal. Organizing my own family’s health records into one clear story is a problem I’ve wanted to solve for years. With AI, it’s finally possible to do it well. We treat your family’s health data the way we’d want our own handled.
